Steel MIG Welding/Fabrication
Any project, big or small, can be manufactured at Schaefer Welding and Fabrication. We can build a project from scratch or a part can be brought in to be fixed.
Aluminum MIG Welding/Fabrication
Schaefer Welding and Fabrication has aluminum welding and fabricating capabilities. Projects can be created or parts can be brought in to fix up.
Bandsawing
Schaefer Welding and Fabricaiton has band sawing services. If you want metal sawed to length, we are the place to call!
Aluminum TIG Welding
We now have aluminum TIG welding capabilities! Bring in your thin or detail orientated aluminum projects to get fixed or fabricated at a high level.
Mild Steel and Stainless Steel TIG Welding
Schaefer Welding and Fabrication can also TIG weld mild steel and stainless steel projects. Bring in any project that is thin or needs to look stunning when it is finished!
PROJECTS
Chicken Grills
Schaefer Welding and Fabrication teamed up with Cardinal Manufacturing (the link goes to their website) to build charcoal chicken grills. The grills expanded and sheet metal was sheared out at the school shop, but the rest was handled by Schaefer Welding and Fabrication. The grills are well built and made to last for many years of grilling.
Industrial Sanding Carts
Another project that was made at Cardinal Manufacturing was these intricate sanding carts. Challenged to make up to 20 at one time, I had to come up with a jig that would make these carts consistent. This project was done at the school, but could conveniently be made at Schaefer Welding and Fabrication.
Custom Sap Cooking Firebox
This is an example of a steel MIG welding project. A customer wanted a custom firebox for cooking his maple syrup; so we went to work plasma cutting, band sawing, drilling, and welding to create a beautiful custom firebox for him to cook his sap with.
Custom Folding Semi Bumper
Here is an example of an aluminum MIG welding project that we completed. Having hit many deer with his truck and due to other bumpers not protecting it, this customer turned to us to create a custom bumper for his semi. It even folds down so he can check his oil every day with ease!
